APR FC, Rwanda's premier football club, has announced
the appointment of Moroccan coach Taleb Abderrahim as their new head coach.
This strategic move is expected to enhance the club's
performance and success in upcoming competitions.
Taleb Abderrahim, aged 61, signed a two-year contract
with APR FC, with the possibility of extension. His
coaching staff includes assistant coaches Chahid Mohamed and Haj Taieb Hassan.
The club expressed confidence in Taleb's leadership,
stating, "We are pleased to welcome our new head coach Taleb
Abderrahim...We have confidence in him and are confident that he will take our
team to greater heights."
Born in Casablanca,
Morocco, Taleb began his coaching career in 2007 with Moroccan club Moghreb
Tetouan. Over the years, he has managed several top
Moroccan clubs, including RS Berkane, AS FAR, and Wydad Athletic Club. His most recent position was with Difaa Hassani El Jadidi in
Morocco's second division.
Taleb's appointment follows
the departure of former coach Darko Novic, who left APR FC in May, just three
matches before the league season concluded. With
his extensive experience and proven track record, Taleb is expected to bring
valuable insights and strategies to APR FC.
The appointment of Taleb Abderrahim as head coach marks
a new chapter for APR FC. With his rich coaching
background and experience in African football, Taleb is poised to lead APR FC
to new heights, aiming for greater success in both domestic and continental
competitions.
