In a new update, Chelsea Football
Club has changed its pre-season schedule. Instead of traveling outside the
UK after the FIFA Club World Cup, Chelsea will stay in London.
This move marks a big shift from previous summers and aims to help the team
prepare better for the new season.
After the FIFA Club World Cup, Chelsea
will play two home pre-season friendly matches at Stamford Bridge,
giving local fans a chance to watch their team up close. These matches are a
part of the Visit Malta campaign, run by the Malta Tourism Authority
to promote tourism to the beautiful Mediterranean island.
The Visit Malta match schedule is:
Chelsea
vs Bayer Leverkusen – 8 August
Chelsea
vs AC Milan – 10 August
These games are expected to draw large crowds, and Chelsea is excited to compete with top clubs like Bayer Leverkusen and AC Milan in front of their home supporters.
By staying in London, Chelsea
FC is focusing on smart preparation after the FIFA Club World Cup.
With help from the Visit Malta initiative, the team will get top-quality
practice while also supporting a tourism campaign. These matches will give fans
an exciting look at the squad before the new season kicks off.
